- How long have you been in the music industry and has music always been a part of your life?
I have been in the industry for a hot minute and music has been a huge part of my life since i was a kid. I can remember doing the baby bounce in my diapers in front of the T.V. watching Sesame Street.
- Was there a specific moment in your life where you thought, “music is what I want to do”?
I remember hearing some wack ass rappers getting on and I was like YO ! I can do this... and i started rapping the next day.
- What inspires you (or your music)?
My life inspires my music also memories and other hype music.
- Who’s on your iTunes playlist?
I don’t really fux with iTunes but i been bumping A-Boogie on Soundcloud tuff lately. Also Future, Drake & Migos to name a few.
- The project you are currently promoting, how did the idea for it come about?
I got the idea for my single -Sippin when I was like "Yo ! eryone go's to the club and likes to "turn up" and eryone likes to go to the club to drink and bag bitches.. So i was like lemme make a song about going to the club to turn up, drink and bag bitches and i'll call the song Sippin.
- There are thousands of artists trying to do what you are doing, what do you think gives you an advantage to break into mainstream America?
I feel like not every rapper has my level of swag so yall need to step aside and learn from the swag daddy ! p.s. Drake I’m coming for your spot.
- I’ve heard your latest music and it’s amazing! I can definitely tell your sound has evolved over the past few years from previous songs we’ve heard from you online. What are your thoughts on the evolution of an artist and the evolution of music today?
The music is an art form and an expression and is an ever evolving culture. If an artist can’t evolve he will get out dated and even if he makes 1 good song no one will like him and he will get his feelings hurt.
- Do you have other passions in life? Do you believe passion is an essential part of success?
Yes my passion is food, art, clothing and women and without passion the world would become boring fast. We all need something to chase. A dream a vision. Passion will wake you up out of your sleep and make you wanna go hard for it. Follow your passions.
- With your current success and working with a renowned PR firm such as Starlight PR, What advice would you give to someone just starting out in his or her career who doesn't even have a studio to record but would love to do what you are doing now?
Step your game up homie! This money ain’t gonna make itself. Get a studio or save up your blunt money and rent you some stu time asap!
