Exclusive Interview with Legacy

An exclusive interview with Legacy.

Upcoming100: How long have you been in the music industry and has music always been a part of your life?

Legacy: I’ve always been musically inclined, as my father was a member of a Gospel Group along with his brothers (my uncles).  I started out playing the keyboard then advanced to production of my own music since the age of 12.

Upcoming100: Was there a specific moment in your life where you thought, “music is what I want to do”?

Legacy: This specific moment dates back to when I first saw my Dad & their Gospel Group perform for the first time and the impact they had on their audience was unbelievable. That’s when I decided that making good music was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

Upcoming100: Who’s on your iTunes playlist?

Legacy: I mostly listen to Dolph & Yo Gotti lately.

Upcoming100: There are thousands of artists trying to do what you are doing, what do you think gives you an advantage to break into mainstream America?

Legacy: I believe what separates me from the average artist is that I’m truly a visionary of my masterpiece. I write, I produce & I engineer my music.

Upcoming100: With your current success and working with a renowned PR firm such as Starlight PR, What advice would you give to someone just starting out in his or her career who doesn't even have a studio to record but would love to do what you are doing now?

Legacy: I would tell them to believe in themselves no matter what. Not everybody will not see your musical vision as you do, so you have to stay encouraged, firm and confident in whatever you’re doing, Never give up because when they see you believing in you, they will too.

Upcoming100: Where can potential fans find out more about you?

Legacy: Fans can Google LegacyNoLimit to see all my links to social media, LiveMixtapes.com, iTunes, and other platforms.
