Janet Jackson Dances to Cardi B's 'Bodak Yellow' in Concert

Janet Jackson's Unbreakable tour came to a halt in 2016 after doctors ordered the singer to rest as Jackson and her former husband were expanding their family.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

A newborn baby and a divorce later, Jackson recently kicked off her new aptly titled State of the World tour and showed the world that despite her hiatus, she's been taking notes. At a recent State of the World tour stop, the iconic singer saluted one of 2017's biggest stars, Cardi B, by performing a mashup of the rapper's hit "Bodak Yellow."

A short fan-shot video shows the 51-year-old singer and her backup dancers performing Jackson's 1989 single "What Have You Done For Me Lately" before the beat of "Bodak Yellow" creeps into the mix. Jackson hits pause on her choreographed routine to break out some moves of her own to Cardi's runaway hit, then resumes her performance of her throwback cut.

Cardi shared the video on her Instagram page, thanking the iconic singer for her support. "I really can't even believe this .Its soo surreal .Like ommmmmmmgggg son this the type of shit you dream about," the rapper wrote under the video. "Thank you Janet Jackson for showing Bodak Yellow some love.Im so happy."
