On Wednesday (Oct. 11), the model-turned-actress shared a statement on Instagram, where she details her experiences with the Hollywood producer while working with him in the adaptation of John Green's novel Paper Towns.
According to Delevingne's statement, Weinstein made homophobic comments about her relationships with women and attempted to force her to have a threesome with an unnamed woman, along with other instances where he harassed her.
She writes, “He then invited me to his room. I quickly declined and asked his assistant if my car was outside. She said it wasn’t and wouldn’t be for a bit and I should go to his room. At that moment I felt very powerless and scared but didn’t want to act that way hoping that I was wrong about the situation. When I arrived I was relieved to find another woman in his room and thought immediately I was safe. He asked us to kiss and she began some sort of advances upon his direction.”
Besides Delevingne, other Hollywood figures such as Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ashley Judd, Rose McGowan, Lea Seydoux, Asia Argento, Mira Sorvino, Rosanna Arquette and more have spoken out about their experiences with Weinstein.
