P!nk Delivers Heartfelt, String-Laced 'Barbies' Performance at 2017 CMAs

As a visitor from the pop world, P!nk could have felt out of place at the 2017 CMAs. Instead, the seasoned award show veteran and recent Billboard 200 chart-topper brought the Nashville crowd to its feet with a riveting performance of her new Beautiful Trauma track "Barbies."

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

"I wish that I could go back to playing Barbies in my room," P!nk mused to the arena, backed by a string quartet and a pair of additional vocalists. From her pop bangers and past flying trapeze performances to balladry like this, P!nk has shown plenty of reasons why she's held strong in the pop game for the better part of two decades.

Earlier this year, P!nk was among the key performers at the MTV VMAs, where she accepted the video vanguard award and belted a medley of past hits.
