Demi Lovato Holds a Guy on a Leash in Sirah's New 'Deadbeat' Video

Demi Lovato makes a noteworthy cameo in Sirah's new video for "Deadbeat," her recent collaboration with Skrillex.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

The clip, directed by David Forehand, shows a scene where the two real-life friends are chilling on a bed, with Lovato casually holding a man on a leash.

“I called and told her I was going to come by in lingerie with a shirtless man wearing a dog leash and throw money on her in the most intimate location possible: her bedroom,” Sirah told Entertainment Weekly.

It turns out Lovato was one of the first to hear "Dead Beat," which Sirah wrote after a life-changing trip to Kenya with the singer and other friends. Lovato -- with her own "Daddy Issues" song -- also inspired the "baddies with daddy issues" line.

The rapper clarified to EW that the video features family video footage and is actually in tribute to her dad, who died when she was 12 years old: “This is not because my dad was a deadbeat, but more about how his death impacted me and how I changed as a result of that. I also wanted to honor him because this month is the anniversary of his death."
