The Diplomats Slam Harvey Weinstein on Reunion Track 'Once Upon a Time'

Cam'ron revisits a rumored "aggressive interaction" on the set of 'Paid in Full' between Dame Dash and the movie producer.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

It appears Harlem's favorite group might be cooking up a new batch of goodies for its loyalists. On Wednesday (Nov. 15), the unbeatable quartet returned with their new track "Once Upon a  Time," with Cam'ron and Jim Jones leading the way.

With The Heatmakerz sprinkling their soulful touch on the song's production, the two-headed behemoth of Cam and Jimmy appears stronger than ever. Fresh off the release of his new The Program mixtape, Cam's signature wit steals the show, as he thrashes Harvey Weinstein with a slew of bars.

“Welcome back to the hallway loiterers/ I made mills off the white girl, I exploited her/ No disrespecting the ladies, word from my team/ Why? That’s the reason Dame smacked Harvey Weinstein, pervert/ On the set of Paid In Full, y’all gave him hell about it/ Some foul shit happened once, Capo, tell ’em about it.”

In an October interview with Hip-Hop Motivation, Dame Dash spoke on his "aggressive interaction" with Weinstein dating back from his 2002 film Paid in Full. "I know I made Paid in Full over there, and I know that him and I had a lot of aggressive interaction," said Dash.

"And I know even culturally, like, my people would say things, like, I would see interviews with Wood Harris and with Just Blaze and all that, and they'd be like, 'Oh he yelled at Harvey Weinstein. He yelled at the Weinsteins.' But the bottom line is, like, when I look at somebody treat other people wrong, I can't just look the other way. And any opportunity I get, I know I'm strong, but I'm always gonna make them suffer for the people that aren't strong enough."

As for Jim Jones, he uses the reunion track as a place to touch on his reconciliation with his former foe, JAY-Z. “Tried to blackball me, so I asked ’em where the hoop at/ Ballin’! In the Soho in L.A., askin’ the valet where the coupe at/ 80 for the jet to meet with JAY and then I flew back.”
