Taylor Swift Set for Second Week at No. 1 on Billboard 200, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill Bound for No. 2 Debut

After Taylor Swift’s blockbuster debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with Reputation, the superstar is set for a second week atop the list, according to industry forecasters.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

The album — which premiered atop the tally dated Dec. 2 with 1.238 million equivalent album units earned in the week ending Nov. 16 (according to Nielsen Music) — could earn more than 230,000 units in the week ending Nov. 23. That sum should easily keep the set atop the Billboard 200, making it the first album to notch multiple weeks at No. 1 since August, when JAY-Z’s 4:44 claimed two weeks in the penthouse.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The top 10 of the new Dec. 9-dated Billboard 200 chart (where Swift should hold at No. 1) is scheduled to be revealed on Billboard’s websites on Sunday, Nov. 26.

Country couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will likely be the only debuting title in next week’s top 10, as their collaborative album, The Rest of Our Life, should start at No. 2. The set — which was released on Nov. 17 through McGraw Music/Arista Nashville — might launch with over 120,000 equivalent album units. If the album starts as expected, it will grant McGraw his 18th top 10 effort (and highest charting since 2013’s No. 2-peaking Two Lanes of Freedom) and Hill her fifth top 10 (and highest charting since 2005’s No. 1 Fireflies).

McGraw and Hill’s album has launched a pair of hit singles on the Hot Country Songs chart: “Speak to a Girl” (No. 6) and the set’s title track (No. 25).
