The video shows Kehlani in long bohemian tresses behind a warm-toned grainy filter enjoying an afternoon in nature giggling with a lover. Coinciding with the song’s title, visuals of dripping honey and bees also flash across the screen. It's nostalgic and romantic, and Kehlani is all smiles.
This release comes just one week after the singer-songwriter performed an acoustic version of the song at Billboard’s Women in Music, where she accepted her Rule Breaker award.
Upon receiving the honor, she noted, “Being acknowledged for breaking rules in a positive light is so important to me. My entire career, I’ve been very outspoken … I just have to speak up. It hits me in the gut.”
