Taylor Swift Reveals 'The Trick to Holding On' in Poem Written for 'Vogue'

She now brings her silver tongue into a new medium: print journalism.

In the January issue of Vogue, cover girl Swift dropped the idea of a feature article and instead opted for a poem. The themes of “The Trick to Holding On” directly parallel those of her latest Reputation album, that the key to a happy life is removing the toxic people and being okay with change.
