The two met at a Jonas Brothers concert way back when and have been close ever since. On Wednesday (Dec. 13), Gomez posted a happy birthday message for Swift that might (definitely) make you cry.

Clearly, these two BFFs have been through a lot, but they remain great friends through it all. The two pop stars haven't been seen in public with each other recently, but it's nice to know they are still in each other's lives. Happy Birthday, Tay!
