Creek Boyz Announce Debut Mixtape & Release Two New Songs

It seems like the Baltimore-bred Creek Boyz are finally giving their fans the follow-up to "With My Team."

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

The rap group announced Thursday (Jan. 11) that their debut mixtape 1:11 will drop March 2 and backed up the news with two new singles.

Creek Boyz broke into 2017 with the song “With My Team,” a rap ballad complete with a group chorus, about the importance of unity among friends in tough times. The song hit a refreshingly sweet take on the troubles of living in one of Baltimore's most dangerous neighborhoods and garnered attention from Lil YachtyYachty's remixcatapulted the song, giving the four rappers national attention.

The two latest follow-ups, "Trap Digits" and "Loco," come 10 months after “With My Team” but deliver a similar sing-along vibe, paired with a little bit more rapping. The upcoming mixtape will be the first full project from the group.
