The 'Shib Sibs' Skate to Coldplay's 'Paradise' During Olympics Free Dance

Team USA’s “Shib Sibs” brought some paradise to the Olympics free dance skating competition.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

In their first competitive appearance at the 2018 Games, siblings Maia and Alex Shibutani finished a strong second in the short dance program Sunday night as they skated to Coldplay's "Paradise.”

Saturday Night Live star Leslie Jones loved the performance (see her tweet below) and so did the judges.

Man me and brother would have killed each other!! Hell to the naw!! @Olympics @NBCOlympics

The “Shib Sibs’” effort helped the U.S. team to the bronze medal position in the team event behind leader Canada and second-placed Russia.

Coldplay has been a popular choice on the ice at these winter games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. U.S. skating Adam Rippon made his debut Sunday (Feb. 11) with a performance that featured Coldplay’s “O” from 2014’s Ghost Stories.

Paradise in . @MaiaShibutani and @AlexShibutani score 112.01 points and are in 1st place, in 3rd. One team left. medal on the horizon.
