Canada's Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir Rule on Ice With 'Moulin Rouge' Version of the Police's 'Roxanne'

Canadian skaters Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir brought some fire to the ice at the Winter Olympics with their eye-catching Moulin Rouge routine, featuring a version of the Police's “Roxanne.”

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

Baz Luhrmann, the Aussie director behind the 2001 feature film, paid tribute to Virtue and Moir’s unbeatable performance Sunday night (Feb. 11).

“Moulin Rouge on ice! It’s moving to see so many champions skating their way to Pyeongchang 2018 to the music from Moulin Rouge, including Team Canada's Tessa Virtue & Scott Moir,” he tweeted.

With a score of 118.10, Virtue and Moir won the ice dance segment of the event and played a huge role in helping their nation take team figure skating gold.

Apparently their ultra-sexy routine was toned down for the Olympic rink. But it was still hot enough to impress the judges.
