Scotty McCreery Misses a Special Someone in New Single, 'Home In My Mind'

Scotty McCreery released the fourth single Friday (Feb. 23) from his upcoming album and this time, the song is a nostalgic tune titled "Home In My Mind."

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

McCreery's characteristic deep country vocals richly reminisce on a girl he misses while traveling, comparing her to Southern summer days and oozing sweet lyrics like "Sweet tea, porch swings, supper on the stove/Everything I've been missing on the road/I can't be there tonight/But when I close my eyes I'm going home in my mind."

The track is off of the American Idol winner's highly anticipated studio album, Seasons Change--his first new album in five years. The record is available on March 16. In the meantime, listen to "Home In My Mind" below.
