The 5 Best Remixes of Marshmello & Selena Gomez's 'Wolves': Listen

Ever since he first came on the scene, masked music man Marshmello has been kind of a big deal.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

His future-pop dance-trap beats are as candy-coated as they are bass-injected, but he really came into his own as a pop powerhouse with November's Selena Gomezcollaboration "Wolves."

The tune reached No. 1 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart after its first full week of streaming, and it peaked at No. 20 on the Hot 100. It was a bonafide smash and it moved Marshmello into even greater markets than he'd yet seen. He's followed it with more pop-crossover collabs, though he promises fans more dance-oriented tracks coming soon. Still, "Wolves" is kind of a moment and it deserves celebrating.

Months after its release, "Wolves" is still honored with remixes from some of the coolest names in the game. Here, we share with you five of our favorite "Wolves" remixes. Which is your favorite?

Marshmello & Selena Gomez - "Wolves" (Rusko Remix)

Mega shout-out to the don Rusko for not only surviving cancer but giving life to this killer garage remix of "Wolves." We always knew Rusko had the house bug in him, but this is some next-level bangin' from the dubstep icon. We could really get behind more of these vibes. It's both classic and modern, and it's definitely got us in the mood to dance.

Marshmello & Selena Gomez - "Wolves" (Said the Sky Remix)

Big ups to Said the Sky for turning this dance-pop tune into something even more romantic. First, he hooks you with the campfire vibes of his acoustic guitar, then he builds you up with future house groove. It plays sweet and smooth like a starry night in the great outdoors. It's a slice of sonic euphoria, for sure.

Marshmello & Selena Gomez - "Wolves" (Audiovista Remix)

Oh, did you miss the original guitar part? Audiovista brings it here, but he slows the tempo and backs it up with a steady, echoing drum beat. This remix of Marshmello and Selena Gomez's "Wolves" is definitely a heartbreaker. The hook comes in cute with some chill trap sounds. Put this one on when you want to wallow in your melancholy but still kinda feel like dancing.

Marshmello & Selena Gomez - "Wolves" (Vanrip Remix)

For this remix of Marshmello and Selena Gomez's "Wolves," Vanrip picks things up a bit, jacking the tempo up a few paces and kicking the beat a little harder. It's a solid four-on-the-floor rhythm with some fantasy synth work to lighten the overall atmosphere. Once again, it's rather loyal to the original guitar melody, but it's different enough to give fans something to get excited about.

Marshmello & Selena Gomez - "Wolves" (Vincent Remix)

Firstly, let's all appreciate the beautiful animation in this video. It obviously took some serious work, so shout-out to the animator, Garrett O’Neal. This remix comes from Vincent, and it features some pitched-up vocals and a cool stomper of a choral hook. It's as sweet as the original, but it's also got some added bite. Just make sure you don't bite the Marshmello.
