Hayley Kiyoko Drops Rootsy Teaser Track 'Let It Be'

Hayley Kiyoko released a teaser track, “Let It Be,” from her upcoming debut album Expectations, and it’s a bit of a curveball. While recent singles “Feelings” and “Curious” are upbeat, synthy numbers, her latest release has a slowed down, rootsy vibe that highlights Kiyoko’s breathy delivery.

Last week, Kiyoko announced the full Expectations track list. Among the titles of her upcoming songs, fans were given a welcome surprise -- Kiyoko confirmed that she collaborated with labelmate and R&B star Kehlani on a track entitled “What I Need.” “The worst kept secret. Ever,” Kiyoko wrote on her Instagram page. The album is due March 30.
