A siren calls, the room fills with smoke and the drums begin to pound, but just when you think the gnarliest of drops is at your feet, the beat takes a left turn toward the experimental.
Party Favor and Baauer weren't content to try one style on for size. The pair's collaborative single "MDR" jumps from bouncing rhythms to orchestral atmospheres then back to grime-ridden bass with finesse and bold flavor. It's got sweet elements of jungle for the old d'n'b heads in the audience, and the whole thing just oozes with the sound of fun.
