Rae Sremmurd Joins BURNS and Maluma on New Track "Hands on Me"

Though we’ve yet to receive a release date for SremmLife 3, Rae Sremmurd has kept fans satisfied with a steady flow of new music.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

On Thursday night, the Mississippi duo dropped a new track called “Hands on Me” with L.A.-based producer BURNS and Columbian singer Maluma.

“Maluma and Rae Sremmurd both wanted to jump on it immediately,” BURNS told OnSmash. “The cadence was a natural lyric with rhythm and melody. Then, it became a crazy combination of artists on one record. I’m amazed we were able to put it together!”

“Hands On Me” dropped just two weeks after BURNS shared “Angel,” and one month before Maluma delivers his third studio album F.A.M.E.

Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi have also recently shared a handful of tracks within the past couple of months, including “Hurt to Look,” “Brxnks Truck,” “Powerglide,” “Guatemala,” and “Close” featuring Travis Scott.

Rae Sremmurd, who have already begun working on Sremm4, said their next album is going to be their greatest project to date.

“It’s the best music we've ever made. Of course we've still got SremmLife 1 and 2 flavor, but we're giving y'all shit y'all never heard from Rae Sremmurd before,” Swae told Billboard last month. “It's just gonna be a surprise—every song you hear you're gonna be like, ‘Damn, what the fuck?’ And all the production is crazy, you got Mike Will Made-It and EarDrummers ringing off the whole album. A couple more people too, crazy features. It's gonna be a big deal, it's history. The world never heard this, it's gonna be a big statement—triple disc from a group.”

Now if they’d only announce a release date.

Until then, listen to "Hands on Me" via Apple Music or Spotify.
