The iconic underground singer accused her former partner and producer Ethan Kath of sexual, physical and emotional abuse during the entirety of their relationship and creative career. He sued her for defamation, and the suit was thrown out by a judge in Chicago.
If it was painful for fans to learn, and it must have been even more difficult for the parties involved, and Glass channeled her frustrations into new music, such as her vindictive single "Without Love" from summer 2017. Fans stood by her side throughout the process, as did some of her professional peers, and Mija now takes her hand in solidarity with a dark, drum'n'bass remix of "Without Love," adding smoky weight to the electronic anti-pop jam with deeper bass and wilder rhythms.
