Martin Garrix and Khalid Announce Release Date For New Collaboration 'Oceans'

Martin Garrix has confirmed a new single with Khalid called "Oceans," due for release on Friday, June 15, according to Ryan Sampson of SiriusXM's The Morning Mash Up.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

Rumors of a Garrix and Khalid tune first hit in October of 2017. A fan twitter account based out of Isreal reached out to both artists and requested a collaboration. When Khalid shared the tweet, Garrix simple responded "let's do it." Khalid later told Billboard he'd been in the studio with Garrix.

Now, Garrix told Sampson that "Oceans" is ready for fans to experience while on the Billboard Music Awards red carpet Sunday night.

Khalid had success in the dance world alongside Marshmello on the pop-crossover hit "Silence." No word on what "Oceans" will sound like, but it's only a matter of time. Mark your calendars, and check the teaser tweet from Sampson below.
