Casanova Drops "Go BestFriend 2.0" f/ G-Eazy, Rich the Kid and Video for "Gripped Up"

It’s a big night for the Roc Nation family: Jaden Smith delivered his “Icon (Remix)" with Nicky Jam; Belly dropped “What You Want” featuring the Weeknd; Jay Park shared his “Soju” track; and now Brooklyn rapper Casanova has come through with not one, but two premieres.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

The first is “Go BestFriend 2.0,” the sequel to his 2017 Jahlil Beats-produced track. G-Eazy and Rich the Kid assisted the follow-up.

“Having G-Eazy and Rich the Kid on this song is dope,” Casanova said in a statement to Complex. “My arms reach to the Bay, to the A, back to where I stay! Brooklyn I got us!”

You can listen to the Go BestFriend 2.0” on Apple Music/iTunes and via Spotify below.

Casanova also came through with the official music video for the menacing track “Gripped Up.” Speaking about making the video, Casanova said: “Shooting 'Gripped Up' video was crazy. I was scared to drive the hearse at first but it ended up being cool.”
