Kiss’ Gene Simmons Settles Sexual Battery Lawsuit

The lawsuit was filed late last year over an alleged incident during a radio interview.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

Kiss’ Gene Simmons has settled the lawsuit filed against him for sexual battery. The unnamed plaintiff—an on-air radio personality referred to as Jane Doe in the original court documents—filed the suit last December. It concerned an alleged incident that took place on November 1 in which she interviewed Simmons and Paul Stanley. She claimed Simmons touched her inappropriately and “turned standard interview questions into sexual innuendos.” The settlement amount has not been made public, The Blast reports via court documents it obtained. Pitchfork has reached out to Simmons’ representatives for further comment.

Simmons initially denied the allegations, and said in a statement to Pitchfork last year, “Friends, I intend to defend myself against any alleged charges you may have been reading about in the media.”
