Wiz Khalifa's 'Rolling Papers 2' Project Has Arrived

Nearly four years after his last album release, Wiz Khalifa has finally delivered his much-anticipated Rolling Papers 2 project.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

And let’s just say the Taylor Gang boss was extra generous this time around.

The project spans a whopping 25 records and is stacked with guest appearances by everyone from Gucci Mane and Swae Lee to Snoop Dogg and Partynextdoor to Ty Dolla Sign and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.

The first Rolling Papers was released back in 2011, and included some of Wiz’s biggest hits: “Black & Yellow,” “Roll Up,” and “No Sleep,” just to name a few. During a recent interview with Billboard, Wiz spoke about the new album and the pressure he faced to make it even better than its predecessors.

“This is as important as my first album. That’s the mark I want to make and that’s how I’m coming into it,” he said. “I had this great career to stand on and all this work I’ve done, but let’s strip all of that away and focus on what I’m about to do right now. This is my time to prove what I’m made of now. Fuck what we’ve done before. We done that, that’s done now. It’s like, what are we doing right now? This moment is so important. It’s as important as when I first came into the game.”

You can listen to Rolling Papers 2 now on all major streaming services, including Apple Music/iTunes and Spotify.

Fans can also catch Wiz on the upcoming Dazed & Blazed Tour with Rae Sremmurd, O.T. Genasis, and Lil Skies. The trek kicks off July 21 in Detroit and will wrap up Aug. 30 in Phoenix.
