Cher has Recorded an Entire Album of ABBA Covers

Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

Mamma Mia 2 hits theaters this weekend, starring the one and only Cher as the grandmother of Sophie (Amanda Seyfried). She recorded an absolutely killer take on ABBA's "Fernando" for the movie's soundtrack (which we adore), and as it turns out, that's just the beginning. In an interview with Kathie Lee Gifford, the legendary singer revealed that she's releasing an entire album of ABBA covers.

"After I did 'Fernando,' I thought it would really be fun to do an album of ABBA songs, so I did!" she revealed, adding "it's not what you think of when you think ABBA, 'cause I did it in a different way." It's not the only thing fans of the canonical Swedish pop group have to look forward to— they're releasing brand new music this year for the first time in decades, and are planning a massive holographic tour.
