Christine and The Queens – “5 Dollars”

Christine and the Queens new video for “5 Dollars” brings you along with frontwoman Christine as she gets dressed, putting on bondage gear underneath a suit.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

The third single from their upcoming album Chris was directed by Colin Solal Cardo, who helmed the clip her previous single “Doesn’t Matter.“ In a statement, Christine described the song as “dealing with some kind of love – the kind you can buy. It’s a literal interpretation. A note for a shag – how surprisingly soothing this can be!”

The single is the third we’ve heard from Chris, following “Doesn’t Matter” and “Girlfriend.” Chris is out September 21 on Because Music. The band announced a tour later this fall starting in Luxembourg and ending in Paris; a list of full dates is available on their website. Watch the video below.
