Cheat Codes' 'Home' Is a Summery Dance-Pop Romance: Listen

It's no longer summer, but there's still plenty of warmth in the air -- especially if you bang Cheat Codes' catchy, synthy pop wave "Home."

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

It's a romantic story told in buttery yellow hues with one hell of an infectious hook and the kind of sing-along melody hits are made of.

There's some edge to this dream girl, with lyrical drug references and lost innocence, and it makes no secret of Cheat Codes' Los Angeles roots. It's the kind of song you can get lost in. Definitely play this one with the convertible top down.

"Home" follows the trio's Little Mix collaboration "Only You," released in June. It's out now on Too Easy. Listen to "Home" below.
