Rihanna Shuts Down Use of Her Music at 'Tragic' Trump Rally

Rihanna's ready to stop the music after all.

The singer got word that her 2007 single "Don't Stop the Music" was being played at a rally for Donald Trump in Chattanooga, Tenn., and her immediate reaction was to shut it down.

"It’s been said a million times, but here’s a million and one — Trump’s rallies are unlike anything else in politics. Currently, Rihanna’s 'Don’t Stop the Music' is blaring in Chattanooga as aides toss free Trump T-shirts into the crowd, like a ball game. Everyone’s loving it," political analyst Philip Rucker, the Washington Post's White House bureau chief, tweeted Sunday night (Nov. 4).

It wasn't long before Rihanna -- who earlier in the day endorsed a Democratic nominee for governor of Florida -- clapped back: "Not for much longer...me nor my people would ever be at or around one of those tragic rallies," she wrote, "so thanks for the heads up philip!"

Rucker then chose to retweet her, reporting that "Rihanna serves notice about Trump playing her music."

See the tweets below. Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose also took to Twitter Sunday to berate Trump's administration for using "loopholes" to play his band's music without consent at political events.
