6ix9ine’s Attorney Says His Client Will Refuse to Take Any Plea Deal

6ix9ine’s attorney Lance Lazzaro is so determined to prove his client’s innocence that he told TMZ that the option of taking a plea deal is "simply off the table."

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

Lazzaro’s remarks come one day after TMZ obtained photos presented by prosecutors meant to prove the rapper’s involvement in a series of robberies throughout Brooklyn earlier this year. The evidence was initially used to show a judge why 6ix9ine should have been denied bail.

While the videos taken from 6ix9ine’s phone sets up the narrative that he was outside the building where an April 3 armed robbery took place, the rapper’s former manager Kifano "Shotti" Jordan is only one identified as being involved in the actual incident. Another image shows that a bag stolen during a September robbery was inside 6ix9ine’s home, but it doesn’t prove that he had anything to do with carrying out the crime.

Prosecutors maintain that 6ix9ine was the mastermind behind these incidents, however, Lazzaro disputes these allegations, stating that his client "was never part of a conspiracy, plain and simple. Nor did he ever participate in any incidents that the government has alleged." If the rapper is approached with a plea deal, his lawyer fires back, "A plea deal is simply off the table, even if the feds offer one." Lazzaro isn't interested in cooperating with prosecutors either.

6ix9ine has been charged with racketeering, drug distribution, and conspiracy to commit murder. His trial has been set for September 4 with a hearing scheduled for January 22.
