Big Sean Assists Icewear Vezzo's New Track "Balance"

Icewear Vezzo has had a lot to celebrate in recent months.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

Since signing to Motown Records last year, the Detroit MC has secured a collaboration with Zaytoven, released the sixth installment of his Clarity series, and landed a sneaker deal with Puma.

On Tuesday night, Vezzo kept building on his recent wins with the release of “Balance,” featuring fellow Motor City rapper Big Sean. Vezzo and Motown have subtly hinted at the track on social media, before conforming its official drop date earlier this week.

"Balance," which debuted on Detroit's Hot 107.5, marks the rappers' first joint record together; however, Vezzo teased an unreleased collaboration with Sean all the way back in 2016: “I always wanted to do a song with Big Sean, and we did one,” he told Fashionably-Early. “It ain’t out yet, but it’s done. It’s a big song—Metro Boomin produced it.”

"I can't trust a f*cking thing you telling me/I done been through everything except a wedding ring/Had to block my old b*tch, yeah she dead to me," Sean raps on the track's hook.

“Balance” is available now on Apple Music/iTunes as well as Spotify. And be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the record's official music video.

Sean is also expected to drop the follow-up to 2017’s I Decided later this year.
