Drake’s ‘So Far Gone’ Projected to Move 50K Units in First Streaming Week

In case you missed the notifications from your Apple Music app, Drake’s So Far Gone is available on streaming for the first time ever.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

The 2009 mixtape hit the game in February and all of last week took a large amount of music Twitter down memory lane to the first time they heard “Successful,” “Best I Ever Had,” “November 18th” and the other tracks from the classic mixtape.

On Twitter, one of the major conversations revolving around the mixtape would be where it slotted on the Billboard 200 albums chart. While it is still a little bit too early to tell, Hits Daily Double has revealed So Far Gone is currently projected to move between 40,000 and 50,000 units in the first week of digital streaming provider availability.

If those numbers remain consistent with the actual ending quantity, Drake may have a little bit of difficulty in going number one with a ten-year-old mixtape. Last week, Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next debuted at number one on the charts with a very impressive 360,000 equivalent album units moved. Grande is favored to repeat at the top of the charts.

Now only if we could get Drake to do a set of dates to perform So Far Gone again…
