Iggy Azalea Shares Sassy 'Sally Walker' Video: Watch

After a bunch of false starts, Iggy Azalea has finally started the rollout for her long-awaited sophomore album by releasing the first track from it, "Sally Walker."

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

The Aussie emcee has been teasing the new track since late February and dropped the sassy new hip-hop number in full at midnight, with an accompanying video not far behind.

Co-written with J. White Did It, “Sally Walker” will appear on Iggy’s next studio album, In My Defense, the followup to her 2013 album The New Classic which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

There's no finer example of a "difficult second album" than In My Defense. After a dream start to her career, Iggy encountered some push backs from Def Jam, her initial label, Later, she shifted affiliation within the Universal Music Group family and teamed up with Island Records. The resulting EP release, 2018's Surviving the Summer, had a lukewarm reception and her Bad Girls Tour was scrapped.

After splitting from Island, Iggy got a fresh start late last year when she announced a new partnership with Empire. A release date has yet to be announced for In My Defense, which will arrive independently later this year via Iggy’s own label Bad Dreams through Empire.
