Dame Dash Hit With $7 Million Defamation Lawsuit

Dame Dash got his apologies off but it may have forgotten someone as he is now facing a lawsuit of $7 million.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

The Blast details Dash is caught in the legal crosshairs of Josh Webber who is suing the legendary Hip-Hop figure for slander on social media. The lawsuit cites the words spewed by Dash as defamation and came up with the figure of suit due to the size of his social media audience and the cost of an investment. Totaling 565,000 total followers on Instagram and YouTube, the lawsuit notes a $1 tax per. The investment that was missed was for $6 million from a partner who took Dash’s words to heart in canceling the deal.

This won’t be the first time Dame will be on the receiving end of a lawsuit from Webber. Earlier in 2019, Webber and his production company sued Dash after firing him from directing a film, which Dash continued to promote sparking a power struggle over who actually owns the film.
