It’s the longest climb to the top since Becky G’s “Mayores,” featuring Bad Bunny, arrived at No. 1 (Feb. 17, 2018), also in its 24th frame.
“It fills me with happiness and gratitude to see that six months after the release of the remix of 'Calma,' we reach No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart,” Capo tells Billboard. “This seems like a never-ending dream.”
The track, which marks Farruko’s fifth No. 1, advances with 15.5 million in audience (up 41%), in the week ending April 7, according to Nielsen Music.
‘Lost’ Is Found: On the Hot Latin Songs chart, where “Calma” remains at its peak of No. 4 for a second week and takes the Digital and Airplay Greatest Gainer honors, Kane Brown and Becky G’s Spanish version of “Lost in the Middle of Nowhere” debuts at No. 13.
“Lost” debuts on the strength of digital sales and streaming activity. It launches at No. 1 on Latin Digital Song Sales, with 11,000 downloads sold in the week ending April 4, while it logged 3 million U.S. clicks.
Brown, who has notched four top 10s on Hot Country Songs, makes his first appearance on a Latin chart.
Becky G, meanwhile, ups her career count on Hot Latin Songs to 12 entries. She nabbed her first Hot Latin Songs entry in 2004 with “Can’t Get Enough,” featuring Pitbull.
