Miguel Will Honor The King of Pop At 2016 Grammy Awards

R&B phenom Miguel will take center stage at this year’s Grammy Awards showcase, but instead of performing his enigmatic and feel-good melodies, he’ll tip his vocal hat to one of his inspirations.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

According to Billboard, the “Adorn” singer will perform a tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. The Cali native is set to sing a rendition of MJ’s “She’s Out of My Life” which was featured on his 1979 album Off the Wall. Jackson won a Grammy for the project’s other standout hit, “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough” in 1980. Other artists that will be commemorated through music also include David Bowie and B.B. King.

Miguel will also be joined by other performers throughout the event which include some of the night’s top nominees like The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar and Adele.

Hosted by LL Cool J, the 58th annual Grammy Awards will premiere Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
