In a video uploaded to his personal Snapchat account, Gucci can be seen cutting off his ankle monitor. After being freed of the monitor, his girlfriend, Keyshia Ka’oir is heard in the background declaring, “It’s over with. Yay!”
Given that Gucci has released a consistent stream of new music following his May release from prison, he took time to promote his upcoming Woptober album, which is scheduled to drop on October 17, in his Snapchat video.
“Woptober on the way, baby,” Gucci said as he freed himself of his ankle monitor.
Everybody Looking, Gucci’s ninth studio album, was released nearly one month after the rapper’s return to his Atlanta home. The Southern wordsmith recruited a who’s who of talent, including Drake and Kanye West, for the album.
In the Snaps after his big reveal, a gleeful Guwop can be seen behind the wheel of his whip, as his music plays in the background.
Now that Gucci Mane’s house arrest is over, his probation will likely begin.
Since his prison release, the Trap King has performed in Atlanta to celebrate his homecoming. Now, he can begin gracing the nation with his presence.
