Michelle Obama Said She Fell Asleep Before Donald Trump Was Announced President

The First Lady of the United States of America has been a vocal critic of Donald Trump as he campaigned his way to becoming President-elect.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

Michelle Obama recently spoke to People magazine with her husband, President Barack Obama, about her election night plans, which didn’t end up being too exciting or different than any other night.

“I went to bed. I don’t like to watch the political discourse; I never have,” the First Lady said. She didn’t pay much attention to the political back and forth while Obama was running for president. She maintains her stance about Trump, and support of Hillary Clinton.

“Anything that I felt about the election I said and I stand by,” she said, adding she and her husband were nonetheless ready to help the incoming team succeed. “This is our democracy, and this is how it works,” she said. “We are ready to work with the next administration and make sure they are as successful as they can be. Because that’s what’s best for this country.”

The 52-year-old even disclosed that she and Vice President Joe Biden’s wife, Jill Biden, would have wine dates. The Obama children have mixed feelings about leaving the White House after the 8-year tenure.

Mrs. Obama will be remembered as one of the most graceful and brilliant First Lady’s ever. The Obamas will be missed.
