Vin Diesel hasn’t given up on his dream of being a rock star.
The Fast & Furious tough guy lends his vocals to a new mix of Kygo and Selena Gomez’ collab "It Ain’t Me," which dropped at the back end of last week. Kygo, the Norwegian artist and producer, has seamlessly reworked the track as a Diesel-meets-Gomez duet.
“All love...” Diesel wrote as he posted the new version to his Facebook page. He went deeper with detail (and more love) on Instagram. “WOW!!!! The new Kygo mix is up on my Facebook page. I stepped out of my comfort zone for this one, haha. Let me know what you think," he wrote. "Thank you Kygo for producing this 2017 HIT! Thank you for believing in me enough to ask me to sing. Thank you Selena Gomez for bringing that beautiful and magical voice. Pained and celebratory simultaneously. I followed your lead when I went into the booth...”
Diesel isn't short of confidence when there's a mic in front of him. Who could forget Vin tackling Maroon 5's "My Heart is Open" or his cover of Sam Smith's "Stay With Me" (the Internet sure hasn't forgotten). He's been working on his frontman chops with Nicky Jam and he recently told Late Late Show host James Corden he's keen to make a big reveal on Carpool Karaoke.
