Beyonce Announces ‘Formation Scholarships’

These scholarships will be awarded to female college students pursuing a degree in creative arts, music, literature or African-American studies.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

Beyonce has done it again, except this time, her brilliance comes away from the mic.

Announcing earlier today (4/25), Beyonce has revealed the “Formation Scholarships” with the goal being to “encourage and support young women who are unafraid to think outside the box and are bold, creative, conscious and confident.”

Bey will be awarding one scholarship to the following four universities: Berklee University, Parsons School of Design, Howard University and Spelman College. These scholarships will be awarded to female college students pursuing a degree in creative arts, music, literature or African-American studies.

For more information on each of the four scholarships, please visit the college’s websites to see all details.

Nice work, Bey!
