Flyweight Champ Demetrious Johnson Speaks on Becoming the Greatest Martial Artist, Superfights, & Gaming

"If they give me a million dollars up front and give me pay-per-view points, we can talk."

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

He made UFC history after defending his title as flyweight king for the 10th time in a row, putting himself at the top of the record books alongside Anderson Silva for longest title defense. Today Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson joins us on Sway in the Morning to talk about his grind, UFC marketing, and being a huge gamer.

We asked the flyweight champ if he would consider moving up in weight class for a super fight. His answer? “If they give me a million dollars up front and give me pay-per-view points, we can talk. If they’re not going to do it don’t talk to me about it . . . I’ve been at 135 pretty much most of my career . . . the only thing it did is bring me more injuries and more surgeries.”

The pound-for-pound fighter breaks down why wrestlers get cauliflower ear and why he chose martial arts over boxing.
