ActionRec: Music was always in the family, my father was involved so that’s all I saw growing up.

ActionRec: The songs come when they come, they could start from a riff in a jam or with a lyric, there is no specific format that I follow when writing.

ActionRec: Groovy pop I suppose and my taste in music is very varied hence me not getting aligned to any particular genre, the song will determine the genre approach, for me as a guitarist I started playing Metallica in my early teens.

ActionRec: Getting heard is the biggest challenge and I am still in the process of trying to overcome that main challenge.

ActionRec: Life and career are inextricably linked I’m afraid and I suppose like for all of us it’s a daily effort to ensure my well-being, the support of my family is the constant factor keeping me sane.

ActionRec: I believe that any good song should be timeless and forever relevant.

ActionRec: I collaborate with my brother and father and I learn from them, everything from song arrangement to vocal delivery and everything in between.

ActionRec: Yep, we have a new single out on the 12th of April entitled ‘Loser’ and for the first time it has its very own music video which was done by my brother Rónán.
