Kanye and Kid Cudi Unveil Cover Art for New Album Kids See Ghosts

Kanye West and Kid Cudi have unveiled the cover art for their new joint album, Kids See Ghosts.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

According to Cudi, the artwork was done by Takashi Murakami. Check it out below.

 

 

 

 

Earlier this year, Kanye tweeted art concepts for his and Cudi’s new album. “Murakami vibes,” he tweeted at one point. Murakami is behind the art for Kanye’s Graduation.

Kanye and Kid Cudi’s new collaborative project is due out June 8—one week after Kanye’s solo album ye. A listening party is planned to be held in Los Angeles. Kanye’s last full-length was 2016’s The Life of Pablo. Since, he’s announced that he is working on a philosophy book called Break the Simulation, and his Twitter is the new book. Cudi’s last solo album Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’ was released in 2016. He recently released a Smashing Pumpkins-sampling song called “The Rage.”
