The hip-hop star will embark on a national arena tour in April and May 2019, visiting Australia's five major cities for what promises to be his biggest shows yet.
Live Nation will produce the jaunt which kicks off April 26 at Perth’s RAC Arena (formerly Perth Arena), and takes in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and wraps up May 7 at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena.
Postie should get a warm welcome for this run, his first in these parts for two years. His sophomore album, beerbongs & bentleys, opened at No. 1 in Australia back in May and spawned the multi-platinum, chart-topping hits “Psycho”’ and “Rockstar.”
With beerbongs & bentleys, Malone set a bunch of new marks in the U.S., including the-then biggest streaming week ever for an album and most simultaneous top 20 entries on the Billboard Hot 100, and it's platinum certified (70,000 units) in Australia, having logged 25 weeks (and counting) on the ARIA Albums Chart.
The rapper last visited Australia and New Zealand in 2017 as a support act on separate tours by Diplo and Justin Bieber.
Presales start from this Thursday (Oct. 25) and the general onsale is set for 2pm (local time) next Tuesday (Oct.30). Visit livenation.com.au for more.
