The Weeknd Debuts Eerie 'Alone Again' Live Video

The Weeknd rolled out the debut performance of "Alone Again" for the first of three official Vevo live performances on Monday (Nov. 23).

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

The superstar gives the opening track from his Billboard 200-topping album After Hours an eerie-yet-electrifying visual while dressing himself in his traditional album-era aesthetic of a red suit jacket, black leather gloves and beat up face that might've concerned viewers Sunday night at the 2020 American Music Awards.

The Weeknd performed the track in a pristine white room with one flashing red wall as a backdrop, while electric guitars reminiscent of his Trilogy era ramped up the energy for the latter half of the song.

Vevo will complete the trilogy of performances this week, with "In Your Eyes" and "Faith" scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Canadian-Ethiopian singer won favorite male artist - soul/R&B; favorite album - soul/R&B; and favorite song - soul/R&B at the 2020 AMAs on Sunday night and performed an explosive medley of "In Your Eyes" and "Save Your Tears" with Kenny G on an LA highway.
