TPain Goes on a Virtual 'Apology Tour' With Kehlani, Lauren Jauregui, Rich the Kid, Lil Jon & More

TPain is sorry.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

And in case saying it wasn’t enough, the prolific artist took to Instagram Live to host an "apology tour," where he personally and publicly apologized to a handful of high-profile artists whose Instagram direct messages he missed.

Among the guests on his hourlong Live were Lil Jon, Kehlani, Zedd, Lauren Jauregui, Rich the Kid, Bun B and Niana Guerrero, all of whom offered their gripes with Instagram's layout and direct message feature, including a few who admitted to being unaware of DM requests. "Rihanna said she didn't know about the folder either," said T-Pain.

After hearing a handful of celebrity complaints, T-Pain said he’s “taking it to the top floor," bringing in Mark Zuckerberg. After the Floridian singer voiced his concerns to Zuckerberg, the social media mainstay said, "I think I can help with that."

The "town hall" came weeks after T-Pain posted a now-viral video sharing his shock with fans about the existence of a direct message request folder. Unlike most of us, T-Pain’s DM requests came from celebs including Sech, Jamie Foxx, Diplo, Kway, Nate Robinson, Tyler Cameron, YBN Nahmir, Viola Davis and Keri Hilson.

When talking with Georgia rapper Rich the Kid, the pair agreed that "DMs should be viewable, especially when there's money involved." During their conversation, T-Pain previewed a song with Rich the Kid on his upcoming album, later playing a song with Kehlani while he chatted with the R&B singer, generating buzz across social media.
