Grammys producer speaks out on Bianca Censoris naked dress stunt did she break the dress code?

There was debate as to whether she would face charges of indecent exposure

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

A producer for the Grammys has spoken out about Bianca Censori’s controversial dress, and revealed if it broke the dress code.

Censori arrived with her husband Kanye West for the event over the weekend, and turned up in a fur coat, which she then dropped to reveal an almost entirely see-through dress.

It was said that this was designed to replicate the album cover of ‘Vultures 1’, Ye’s ¥$ collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign, and unsurprisingly was met with shock on social media and some expressing concern for Censori’s welfare.

The couple left the event shortly afterwards, with West later confirming that they had done so of their own volition and hadn’t been escorted out.

Now, following speculation that the outfit broke the dress code for the event and debate on whether Censori could face charges of indecent exposure, a producer for the Grammys has commented on the appearance.

Speaking to People, executive producer Raj Kapoor has addressed the incident. He said that while there is an “artistic black-tie” dress code that guests must adhere to there may have been a loophole as, “in the music industry, I guess that’s up for interpretation.”

Kapoor continued: “Obviously there is a dress code for anybody actually performing on the show that we have to adhere to standards and practices. But as far as people attending and nominees attending, that would be something the [Recording] Academy [presents the Grammys] would have to answer.”

The stunt also wasn’t aired on TV as “obscene content” is “prohibited on cable, satellite and broadcast TV and radio.”

On the night, West was nominated for Best Rap Song (‘Carnival’ with Ty Dolla $ign and Rich The Kid feat. Playboi Carti) at this year’s event but lost out to Kendrick Lamar‘s ‘Not Like Us’.

The stunt wasn’t the first time that the two had made headlines together either, as back in 2023 police in Venice investigated an “indecent” public incident on a boat involving the pair.

As reported by The Hindustan Times, Kanye West defended his wife’s outfit in a now-deleted post on Instagram, which reportedly read: “FOR CLARITY. MY WIFE IS THE MOST GOOGLED PERSON ON THE PLANET CALLED EARTH.”

In the post, he shared a Google Analytics report that showed the growing interest in Bianca Censori following the appearance.
