Daddy Yankee will be honored with People En Español's 20th Anniversary Award at its annual festival during Hispanic Heritage Month.
The chart-topping Puerto Rican reggaetonero will receive the special award to celebrate spending over two decades in the music industry -- his first album, No Mercy, was released in 1995. "His influence on our culture and on millions of people across the globe is emblematic of our brand’s mission to unite and inspire," said People En Español's publisher, Monique Manso.
