Rich Chigga is the latest Asian rapper to hit the viral jackpot with “Dat $tick,” an almost satirical trap rap video that’s nearing 4.5 million views on YouTube. The 16-year-old Indonesian kid claims it’s “actually half serious,” but his pink polo and fanny pack combo, juxtaposed with shots of him pouring out Henny and hanging with gun-wielding goons — y’know, typical rap stuff — has left quite a few people confused, and even outraged.
But what do famous rappers make of Rich Chigga and his viral hit? In this new video from 88rising, who brought us the Chinese karaoke version of Desiigner’s “Panda,” Ghostface Killah, Cam’ron, Desiigner, Flatbush Zombies, Tory Lanez, 21 Savage, GoldLink, Jazz Cartier and Madeintyo sit down and react to “Dat $tick.” Surprisingly enough, most of the guys are messing with it, and Ghostface is so impressed he even offers to jump on the remix.
