YOUNG THUG TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM BY END OF 2016

Young Thug isn’t done with 2016.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

The prolific rapper has already released three album this year — I’m Up, Slime Season 3, and JEFFERY — but Thugger is planning on dropping another one before the year ends.

“It’ll probably be fucking ten times harder than JEFFERY,” the ATLien told V Magazine. “Like this one was kind of Jeffery, but it was still kind of street. This one is gonna be just fully Jeffery.”

Released in August, JEFFERY made headlines for its music and its artwork, in which Thugger rocks a purple Mortal Kombat-inspired dress by Alessandro Trincone. The 300 spitter says that decision was made as a statement: “Stop believing in genders.”

While the JEFFERY follow-up has no exact release date, V reports it will arrive “at the end of this year.”

Thug appears in the magazine as part of its V104 cover series. The black-and-white side profile cover shot was taken by Inez & Vinoodh, and it was styled by Jay Massacret.

Other stars in the series include Alicia Keys, Grimes, and Kelly Rohrbach.
