David Guetta has been named The World’s No.1 DJ for a sixth time, setting a new record in DJ Mag’s 2026 Top 100 DJs poll. The results were revealed live at [UNVRS] in Ibiza.
The poll, described as the world’s largest music vote decided by the public, received verified votes from 234 territories this year. Guetta’s latest win makes him the most successful artist in its history. It follows a year in which he added another five billion streams and became the first artist to achieve 22 number ones on the US Dance Airplay chart.
Celebrating the achievement, David Guetta said: “To become the first artist to win Top 100 DJs six times while being part of this moment for dance music is incredible. DJs are now playing stadium shows that were once reserved for the biggest pop and rock acts.”
The ceremony was held at [UNVRS], which earned The World’s No.1 Club title during its first year in operation. Other honours went to Charlotte de Witte as The World’s No.1 Techno DJ, Indira Paganotto as the first recipient of The World’s No.1 Psy DJ award, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike as The World’s No.1 DJ Group.
This year’s rankings also brought some notable moves. Anyma rose to No.3, Fred again.. reached No.16, and UK house artist Josh Baker secured the Highest New Entry honour with his debut at No.40.
The poll also supported another year of fundraising with Bridges for Music, collecting £120,000 to help pay for the education of 120 students at its music academy in Langa, South Africa.
